Bite-size investing lessons
A Duolingo for investing
If you have ever wished learning about stocks felt like a language app (short lessons, instant feedback, a streak to protect), that is exactly what Quoliv is built to be.
By Quoliv · Beginner investing lessons and fake-money practice from the maker of Quoliv.
What “Duolingo for investing” actually means
Language apps work because each session is small, every answer gets instant feedback, and a daily streak brings you back tomorrow. Quoliv applies the same loop to money. Each investing lesson teaches one idea in plain English in about two minutes, then checks it with a short quiz. You earn XP, keep a daily streak, and unlock the next lesson only after you pass the current one.
What you learn, in order
The path starts from zero: what a stock is, how the market works, and why prices move. It then covers funds and ETFs, diversification, risk, compounding, and how to read a company. Concepts build on each other, so nothing assumes knowledge you have not met yet. If you want to read ahead, our plain-English investing guides explain each topic in more depth.
The part a language app can’t copy: practice
Knowing a word is different from using it in a conversation, and knowing what a share is differs from owning one. Quoliv includes a practice simulator with $10,000 in pretend cash and real market prices, so you can test an idea from a lesson without risking a cent. No real money is ever involved. See our step-by-step practice exercise for a good first session.
Who it is for
Quoliv is for complete beginners: students, first-jobbers, and anyone who has opened a brokerage app and closed it again because nothing made sense. It is not a trading-signal service and does not tell you what to buy. It teaches you to understand what you are looking at, so that any later decision is your own.
How it compares
Some apps are mostly articles, some are chart-heavy trading simulators, and a few are gamified courses. If you want to weigh them side by side, read our comparison of the best apps to learn investing or the Quoliv alternatives page. Quoliv’s focus is the daily lesson habit first and the simulator second.
Start your streak
Your first lesson takes about two minutes and needs no account. Start learning free, and come back tomorrow to keep the streak alive.
