This Privacy Policy explains what information Quoliv (“we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Quoliv is a free educational product that uses fake money only — we never process real trades or payments.

Information we collect

• Account information — if you create an account, we store your email address and (optionally) a username and avatar you choose or upload.
• Learning & simulator activity — your XP, streaks, completed lessons, gems, and fake-money portfolio, so your progress is saved.
• Guest data— if you use Quoliv without an account, this progress is kept only in your browser’s local storage on your device, not on our servers.
• Technical data — basic logs (such as IP address and browser type) that our hosting and infrastructure providers generate to keep the service running and secure.

How we use your information

• To provide the lessons and fake-money simulator and save your progress.
• To let you sign in and sync across devices.
• To maintain, secure, debug, and improve the product.
• To respond to you when you contact us.

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

We rely on a few third parties who process data on our behalf:

• Supabase — authentication and database (your account & progress).
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Google — optional “Sign in with Google” login.
• Finnhub — third-party market price data shown in the simulator.

Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy.

Cookies & local storage

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, and your browser’s local storage to remember your progress and settings. We do not use advertising trackers.

Data retention

We keep your account data while your account is active. Guest progress lives only on your device until you clear it. You can ask us to delete your account data at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us at the address below.

Children

Quoliv is not directed to children under 13, and you must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your country) to use it. We do not knowingly collect data from children under that age.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll change the “Last updated” date above, and significant changes may be highlighted in the app.
